If these sound interesting, and you would like to come along and meet us one evening, we are in the village hall on the second Tuesday of each month (except Jan) ; the meetings start at 7.30 pm.
There are so many things happening within the WI if you like to take part - or perhaps you would just like to join us each month and share our delicious refreshments!
Our speaker last month was Angela Pawlyn who took us through the process of silk production and demonstrated the spinning and weaving of the garments she produces.
Where did you get that hat is the topic of our speaker for the May meeting. Needless to say, please bring along a hat. We will also be discussing the WI annual resolutions during this evening.
Do come along and find out more.

A large number of members including three new members braved the cold and blustery weather to attend the Annual General Meeting on 11th March. This was Hilary Clements' last meeting as President.
Firstly, the formal reports were presented. Carol Prickett ( treasurer) gave the financial statement for the year, showing that the finances for our branch are sound and in good order. While the votes were counted, amusing readings were read by Joan Weaving, Hilary Clements and Pat Dando. After the break for refreshments the evening was rounded off with a beetle drive.
